Originally released in 2006, it was remastered for its 10 year anniversary. It could’ve come out today and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. A mixture of post-punk and emo vocals, tracks like “Sunlit Ascending” soar exactly as much as its name implies — while “Peregrine” and “A Fate Delivered” are an anguished, furious conclusion to an incredible album. A pop-punk album full of both angst and maturity. A lot of this album is about growing up, but I've been consistently coming back to this album for over 5 years and it never gets old. evan_burman
